Welsh Junior Track Sprint Championships

   2x Welsh National Champion

On Saturday 13th July 2019 I competed in the Welsh sprint championships. 

The competition started with a qualifying round which consisted of a 200m time trial. I qualified 1st out of the welsh competitors and 4th in the open sprint. After a tough day of racing, progressing through the rounds, I finished 1st in the Welsh competition, thereby  becoming a Welsh National Champion for the first time ever.

On Sunday 14th July 2019 I competed in the 1km time trial. The 1km time trial is 4 laps of the velodrome from a standing start as fast as you can and the fastest time wins. I placed 1st in the welsh competition with a 1:09.506. This meant that I was now the Welsh national champion in the 1km and therefore 2x Welsh National Champion.
